What is the US University Transfer Program?

It is a transfer pathway that allows you to start your degree with Woolf (e.g., through Metis College), and then transfer to a partner university in the US to complete your degree on campus 

 

What degrees are available through the program?

You can access the Digital Library through the Student Resource Center on the Woolf University website. Use your student login credentials to gain access.

 

Is there a cost associated with using the Digital Library?

STEM-eligible and business-focused programs such as:

  • MS in Computer Science
  • MS in Business Analytics
  • MBA

 

How does the credit transfer work?

  • You must complete at least 30% to 50% of your degree requirements at Woolf.
  • Eligible courses will transfer for US credit.
  • Transfer up to 12 credits can reduce time and tuition by up to 40%

  4. Submit the unified application and pay the $150 fee (waived for AMA attendees).
  5. Await admission decisions.
  6. Prepare for and attend the F-1 visa interview.
  7. Upon approval, confirm enrollment and pay fees to the US university.

 

What are the eligibility requirements?

  • Completion of 50% of your degree credits with Woolf.
  • No age restrictions.
  • Meet English proficiency and financial documentation standards.

 

Will the final degree mention Woolf or my starting college?

No. The degree is awarded solely by the US partner university, with no mention of Woolf or Metis College.

Example: At Lewis University, Woolf learners with 15 transfer credits pay $21,240 vs. the standard $34,515 tuition

Can I choose which US university I transfer to?

Yes. When you apply, you’ll rank your preferred partner universities. Woolf’s unified application allows you to be considered by multiple institutions with one submission.

 

What happens if I don’t meet the credit transfer requirements?

You can still apply to transfer, but you may need to complete more coursework and pay full tuition at the US university. You can also choose to continue and finish your degree online with Woolf

 

When should I apply for the Fall 2025 intake?

The application deadline is June 2, 2025, for programs starting in August 2025. Early preparation of tests and documents is strongly encouraged.

 

What documents are required for the application?

You’ll need:

  • English language test results (IELTS, TOEFL, etc.)
  • Two academic recommendation letters
  • Proof of funds for visa
  • Transcripts and academic records

 

Will I get help with finding housing in the US?

Yes. Partner universities offer access to on-campus housing and can help with accommodation arrangements as part of your enrollment process.

 

Can I apply if I’m still completing my courses with Woolf/Metis?

Yes. You can begin the application process once you’ve completed at least 50% of your degree, but the transfer won’t proceed until all required credits are completed.

No, the application fee is non-refundable. However, it is waived for students who attend an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session before applying.
